President Donald Trump issued a full pardon Friday to I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, a former top aide to vice president Dick Cheney.

Trump stated he does now not recognize Libby, but “for years I have heard that he has been treated unfairly. with a bit of luck,

this full pardon will help rectify a very sad part of his existence,” in keeping with an announcement issued through White house spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders pronouncing the pardon.
